Purpose, Vision and Mission

Our Purpose

Bassmati Innovation Community was established as a collaborative program between UNICEF, Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) and the Hashemite University (HU), to promote economic development and competitiveness of Jordan in the Water, Sanitation, Hygiene (WASH) and Climate sectors through fostering innovation and entrepreneurship and providing evidence through quality research.

Our Vision is:

To become a leading initiative that empowers innovators and entrepreneurs to develop world-class solutions to climate and WASH challenges that creates growth and skilled jobs, in addition to generating data and evidence through quality research.
